someone told me that it is postponed till 27th Aug

Why the CFAI is not providing any information/updates? Their role is not limited to just conducting the examination.

I'm also searching for the updates of hearing from last 2 days.
Even i send the mail to Cfa institute and Indian society. But none of them replied back.
Even the updates on Indian society home page are also not up-to-date.
If anyone have any update regarding this please post it here. And pls don't spread rumors.

Latest update: Mr. Shanti Bhushan represented CFA Institute during court hearing on 25th August but the judge has postponed the next hearing to 29th September. Lets hope it gets resolved on that date. For those who dont know this case is between CFAI Vs. AICTE and is different from CFAI Vs. ICFAI.

This is a confirmed news and not a rumour and the source is the High court lawyers.

Thank you for contacting us. The final hearing for the appeal by CFA Institute to resume operating the CFA Program in India has been rescheduled to 29 September 2008. Candidates may continue to register to take the exams at test centers outside of India . We will continue to post any updates to www.cfainstitute.org/india as soon as possible.

thats right.. today is the final hearing for CFAI. Infact both the cases ICFAI Vs. CFAI as well as AICTE Vs. CFAI are to be decided today.

I know few of the lawyers working on this case and would post the updates as soon as i get them.

The hearing for the appeal by CFA Institute to resume operating the CFA Program in India has been rescheduled to 23 October 2008.



Candidates may continue to register to take the exams at test centers outside of India.
